Students who have trouble remembering test dates or when homework is due, could utilize different colored highlighters in their agenda books. Students who may use highlighters, include students who may have difficulty staying organized or who have trouble with reading comprehension. What are the characteristics of students who may benefit from the device? Alternatively, highlighter tape or post-it notes can be used. When using textbooks and/or library books, it is not advised to highlight in them, instead it could be helpful to photocopy specific pages that are being used and highlight the copies.
